Food safety is crucial to us. To ensure the highest international food safety standards are consistently applied, Purantara has committed to the implementation of ISO 22000  Food Safety Management System incorporating the Principles of HACCP developed by Codex Alimentarius Commission and certified by TÜV NORD Indonesia.

All of our employees must adhere to a strict medical examination by a certified medical practitioner appointed by the company before joining, and required to undergo medical checks twice a year. Throughout the facilities, Purantara maintains the temperature requirement to guarantee food safety. Below are the standard temperatures in some of our working areas, walk-in chillers and walk-in freezers

Equipped in all of the company’s Hi-lift Trucks are refrigerators which can reach down to 0°C, and max 4°C in normal operation. This guarantees the safety of the meals as they are delivered into the aircraft.

Our certified hygiene officers check to ensure the above temperatures are enforced at all time.

Purantara’s hygiene and QC staff work hand-in-hand to monitor production activities are meeting the highest standards. Food samples are also taken on a daily basis both as raw materials and finished products to ensure safety.

To strengthen the oversight on safe and quality foods based on Islamic Laws, Purantara is Halal certified by The National Ulama Council of Indonesia. This requires renewal every 2 years.
